Wild and domesticated

Not a photo of great quality, but it was quite something to meet this little fawn and her twin (out of the frame) while walking up the hill tonight. She was just as curious about us and stood obligingly to have her picture taken. She was still there when we walked back down ten minutes later...we saw here at the edge of the phone light and heard the cows munching.

Now it's time to start getting used to being empty nesters! We got back from Oberlin about 1am last night. Piano teaching and garden cleanup today.
