Revealed

Here's another glimpse of the past. The original wallpaper from 1910 revealed during renovation. The colour is yellowed due to the fact that it has been shellacked - a very strong varnish type of material which in effect has kept the plaster secure! It's nice to know that it'll always be there as long as the wall is still standing. In another 100 years someone will find it no doubt!
