Badminton Cross Country Day

Sorry it late folks but it was a very long day! We left my sisters at 07.00 with an eta of 10.00, two hours before the off and plenty of time for the ladies to shop. The first part of the journey went well but the last 10 miles took over 2hrs! We made it just as the first horse set off.
As some of you my recall I have photographed at Bramham, but the scale of everything at Badminton is unbelievable! Getting shots is so difficult with such huge crowds.
I must thank again Darren and Splash Clothing for our trade pass for the day, an event that might because off distance have missed ever going to. We had a grand day the weather way beautiful, the horses and riders the cream of the crop!
Sadly leaving was as bad if not worse than getting in! We queued from the car park to the M4 doing 3mph average for seven miles.... we got back 2mins before midnight! Still think everyone who has any interest in equines should go at least once.
