Festival of Light

Today is Divali, the Hindu Festival of Light - celebrating joy, happiness and prosperity. I suppose that makes it appropriate that we today we have our first Prime Minister of an Asian Hindu background, Rishi Sunak. The only fly in the ointment is he is a politician. Hey ho! Doesn't matter who they are, what colour rosette they wear, they are all politicians. Funny that!

Was torn for choice between two photos today, when I gardened for three hours, but only achieved 44 active FitBit minutes. There was one heavy shower and then the sun returned. And my choice of main blip shows just how bright it was with these strong shadows.

My Extra shows just how mild it is: one of a few raspberries still ripening on the bushes. Amazing!
