Female blackbird

Today I ran near the middle of the day. Daughters and grandsons were coming for a midday dinner. Knowing myself, I was aware that I would not want to go out in the evening after a big meal in the middle of the day. There's not much that catches my attention nearby, so I take what I can; such as a female blackbird hopping about in the sunlight.

A really lovely time with the younger people. An excellent time for us all. Lots of love and laughter. Even C's dog seemed to have a good time.
