The Cup We Never Win

Today has been a little bit bizarre (nearly mown down on pavement taking kids to school by a foul-mouthed loon then attending SG Strategic Board and hearing about Swine Flu preparations) so I was in St Andrews House at the same time as the Scottish Cup. Why it was there I don't really know, but dozens of civil servants were swarming around it, and I'd gone to get a coffee. Wasn't sure if it would extend the hoodoo if I was photographed with it, so decided to take the plinth instead; can you spot why? (Hint - a certain team hasn't won it since).
