Low tide

Lazy lie in whilst the rain happened. And then I packed up and drove over to Snettisham where a pair of avocets on the mudflats made my day. I watched them whilst I picnicked. I love these long wild stretches of coastline. And the birds certainly love the mudflats. It’s been a super mini break. Driving back was dramatic with endless lightning in the skies over Peterborough as I crossed the fens.
