Turnips

Home! All is well with Pepper, she has had a nice week with Helen, Chris and Misty.
We did wake up to grey skies and rain, but that’s autumn in the Lake District!
The garden is still growing and my little turnips were ready to harvest. I braised them with a little honey, delicious.
And I made a lovely Tarte Tatin for desert using some of the James Greaves which are now properly ripe.
