Pity about the weather

At the Dartmouth Food Festival. The weather has ruined this three day festival but this morning was OK. The rain returned in the afternoon. Refuge from the rain could be found in the food tents, and the demonstration area, not to mention the gin bar. Plenty of different gins for sale. The whole town smelt delicious. Why do people bring their dogs to a food festival, where the aromas are almost tangible - must be torture for them. Looking forward to tomorrow’s lunch - 3 scotch eggs for £10! A scotch egg was officially declared a substantial meal during Covid, enabling pubs to serve drinks within the restrictions. Seems like years ago but still a worry here.
