Kingham

A change of plan. Daughter#1 and Rory came to KIngham, not Moreton. No problem though. We decided to go for our Covid boosters in Moreton a little earlier than booked in the hope that we could gain 10 minutes or so to give us more time to drive to Kingham station. I started to panic a bit as there was a huge traffic jam as we got close to the hospital, which I thought might be the Covid queue. It was only roadworks though and when we got to the hospital we were able to go straight in. It was quiet and we were in and out before our official appointment time. We had Pfizer again, so we've had the full set now. Disappointed that we didn't get a little card this time, let alone a badge or sticker.

Our daughter's train from London going onwards to Worcester was 11 minutes late. The blip is the train about to depart for London on the other platform. Boy did it rain. After the train left we watched a guy getting soaked walking along that platform with a dog, no lead, and pushing a bike. He proceeded to climb off the platform and carry his bike over the tracks. The dog didn't seem keen but eventually followed him across. He got on the Worcester train when it arrived, with his dog and bike.

We then waited 40 minutes or so with daughter#1 for her return London train, then set off for home with Rory, getting some fish and chips on the way.

This is the first time we have had Rory on his own. Not sure what we are going to do!
