Foggy

Last day of our holiday and we had to be out of our holiday home by 10am.  We made the deadline and once the car was packed we went for a last walk around Crail.  It was very foggy, but very mild.  We couldn’t really see the sea, even Hough we were right beside it.  We stopped in at the pottery where TT bought himself a mug – one I had almost bought for him – and then the bakers where a few goodies were purchased before we hit the road.

We had to get back to Edinburgh as BB had a football match.  We were a little late, but still well ahead of the kick off time.  TT and I dropped BB then headed off to a nearby supermarket to get some lunch.  TT went back to watch the football, and as the rain had almost gone off I went off for a walk.  I didn’t go far – to Stockbridge and back.  I got back near the end of the game.   It was another good win for the team and BB had scored another goal.  Everyone was happy.

Once back home we had to unpack the car and sort things out.  TT had a plan for tea, but needed a couple of things.  As the day had really brightened up, I offered to go out to the supermarket.  I did take a detour around by the river as it was such a lovely (late) afternoon.  TT was waiting on me and almost grabbed the bag out of my hand.  I did a few chores, then sat down and read the paper.  After tea TT and I watched Boiling Point, which we then read is going to be made into a series by the BBC.

The end of a lovely week away – bookended by football matches.  This is Crail harbour this morning – in the fog.
