Tractor Day in Humshaugh

It’s been a wet day.

I drove to Hexham for a supermarket shop ready for when I go away on Wednesday. Remind me never, ever, to go to the supermarket on a Sunday again! Quite aside from my Protestant upbringing, where shopping on Sunday was forbidden, the world and his wife were there!!

I was in Aldi and Tesco. The queues to pay in Tesco were horrendous.

On my way home, I drove through the village to see how many tractors had turned up for Tractor Sunday. The place was heaving with them. I decided not to try to park but to grab a slightly surrealist shot through the car window.

The other Marjorie came this afternoon and then Margaret (across the road).
