After the Storm

I met my daughter in the park for lunch between rain showers and it was quite sunny. When the rain finally returned we were just leaving the park and had to walk home in the rain.

Later there was a real big thunderstorm and the lightening which was purple in the sky was visible from my front window. It was amazing. I was just not quick enough to catch it with the phone. The picture is the sun setting after the storm. The windows steamed up so the rain must have been cold.

I took a rose picture from the park for my blip as there were quite a few still blooming and still many buds to come so I have put that in extras.
