The sun came out

What rain this morning. We thought we'd never get out for a walk with Oscar. It had cleared by 12 noon so I drove to town for petrol and a rain jacket for Oscar. We got back and changed for a canal walk. I drove down to Foxton locks and we walked to the piggies (they aren't there any more and haven't been for years). We saw 2 kingfishers swooping over the canal, they were so fast I couldn't get a photo plus I was transfixed by the sight, magical. We had a lovely walk it was sunny and warm. We didn't need to wear our coats, amazing in October.
