Eli and the Emu

Today we visited Serenity Farm with two of my sisters and my nephew and his family. It was our first time there. The Fall Festival was wonderful and everyone had lots of fun. This is my grand-nephew with the emu in the petting zoo. He told me all about how emus are descended from dinosaurs. The owner of the farm showed me the vestigial legs that the emu still has.
The farm was very inclusive and my sister was able to take her wheelchair into the petting zoo so that she could enjoy the animals with her grandchildren. (extra)
