Whilst we were away

This tree in the garden was not that colour when we left two weeks ago, neither was it losing its leaves. We were also surprised how the colours had changed quite dramatically as we returned through the Highlands, compared with when we were going. 

It would seem that Autumn arrived whilst we were away and I suppose two weeks is a long time for things to happen and we wouldn't have noticed in North Uist as there are hardly any trees!!

The geese in yesterday's blip were at Annandale Water, the Services with the huge lake with ducks and geese. We had only stopped for a brief visit to M&S and that is quite a way from the Lake, so we did wonder what they were doing there.
