That time of year
I think I’m past the stage of being interested in pumpkin carving but I still like looking at them when they are out on display like this.
Incredibly mixed weather here today meaning a walk had to be abandoned. The colours of the leaves outside are fabulous.
I’m enjoying a gooseberry and elderflower milkshake whilst I watch a programme on Stephenson’s Belle Rock Lighthouse. He used dovetail joints in huge blocks of granite- pretty amazing to see.
Tomorrow I’ve heard a rumour there may be a Margaret Rutherford double bill on (if the weather stays like this then I’m very interested).
