On the boat

We didn't expect it to be so beautiful today. It was still raining in the early morning. 

When it got nicer and nicer, we decided to go rowing around noon. At this time of year, there are hardly any other boats on the lake and it was warm enough that we could go out in short rowing clothes. 
The view is towards the last stretch of Lake Constance before it continues again as river Rhine. On the left is Switzerland, on the right Germany. 

Then at home we continued with day 3 and the "final act of our quinces": quince jelly, quince jam and a Linzertorte.
