A happy sad day saying goodbye to my wee pals lovely mum. The packed church showed how loved and respected she was and what a service! I don’t think I’ve been to a Catholic funeral before so a lot was lost on me and lots of responses I was stumped but what a tribute and a send off with the coffin being carried out to Hallejuah sang by her granddaughter. Not a dry eye.
The wake was fun and having left the house, I got home stone cold sober at 6pm though inebriated on the fumes of the others.
A good funeral for a good woman!
