The Old Beech Tree

Had a misty morning walk at St Ives Estate. Lots of autumn colours about and plenty of opportunities for atmospheric photos. I much prefer this sort of conditions to blue sky ones. Note to self…don’t take photos under a beech tree in autumn when it’s dropping its nut clusters, they can be quite painful if they drop on your napper!
Booked a holiday in Somerset for me and Sal in November. Going to Watchet as usual and to the same holiday let. I think the spontaneity of it has turned us both into a pair of giddy kippers.
My first job was to check that all our usual coffee shops were open at that time of year. Fortunately just about all are. :-)
