Friday: Pineapples

There was drama at work this morning (relatively speaking) as the cleaners had used some excessively lemony cleaning products which was setting off everyone’s allergies…….apparently.  There is definitely a school of thought here that If somewhere doesn’t smell really strongly of bleach or cleaning product, then it’s not clean…….anyway, the smell did slowly dissipate and everyone was able to pull themselves together.

The office closes at 2pm on a Friday so K and I headed to the market this afternoon to get in some supplies.  Shopping is interesting here - you can’t get everything in one place.  Certain shops or stalls might have a few things but not everything, so you just have to go from place to place until you have what you need.
