New Mexico Privet

Today was a spring cleaning day in the yard. We pulled weeds, transplanted one bush and cleaned out the old, dead bushes.

This bush is a New Mexico Privet, shown against the backdrop of the coyote fence. The wife trimmed it and claims she just "cuts away what doesn't belong." ...borrowing a phrase from the movie: Karate Kid.
