Sally Mair - Loving life

Cousin Caterpillar

My words all disappeared, this is my second attempt!

My cousin has great changes coming
One day he'll wake with wings

Cousin Caterpillar, seven pairs of legs for you
Cousin Caterpillar, can you tell me what they do?

That always struck me as being a particularly inane String Band song but never mind, it fits!

We have people coming to paint the outside of the house the week after next so need to get things cleared from the walls. Today I summoned up the energy to remove two winter jasmine. We've cut them right down to ground level. I don't particularly like them though and they take quite a bit of work so I may be even more viscious and remove them completely. I also pruned, hard, the roses which are on the front walls and those on the front bed. I was clearing the debris under the lounge window when I came across my blip. I fear I may have removed his winter hiding place. Hopefully he will find somewhere else before he becomes some bird's tasty snack.
We managed to book two slots at the tip this afternoon too so got rid of the rubbish completely. I'm pleased about that as I'm going to create a whole lot more and it's good to get rid before it all gets soggy and even more unpleasant.
We had custody today, of some trays of sandwiches and wraps from Costco, for a funeral tea at church tomorrow and went round this evening to put them in the hall fridge. I found to my irritation that the trays were too large to fit. I ended up using my Blue Peter skills with scissors and sellotape to reduce the size of the trays so they'd fit and decanting some of the food into other containers. I can't be the first that's happened to.
I managed to complete the first of the two reports I need to write for next week, that's the easy one done at least.
Happy Saturday folks.
I've copied and pasted this set of words before I upload them so they won't get lost !

Third time lucky in fact!
