Recycling!

Today’s trip was to the opticians. B was due his routine screening. The good news is that he doesn’t need new specs, just an adjustment to the existing ones as they are a bit squint. 

The weather was damp and foggy, so a change of plan and Amber was left at home. I was going to take her and have a walk around the pretty village north of Lincoln whilst B was occupied, but I took some paper work to do and sat in the opticians instead.

We went to our usual cafe, but it was busy and there wasn’t a table available. So we went to the Community Hub Cafe, a place we haven’t visited before. The building houses the library and a funky cafe. I was amused by these stools and had a little try out to see if the peddles moved …..they don’t. I thought that I might be able to exercise whist I sat!!! 

Their cake was delicious, so I think that that might be our first choice next time.
