A blurry week

A blurry week. C has had flu, I have had cramps.

Work has felt good, I’ve pushed a lot of projects over the line and clients are happy. But that’s all a bit mind numbing at the moment. A bit like the movie soul. At work, everything else disappears. That can be good and bad.

The passion for it hasn’t died and I hope it never will but when days become shorter and nights close in on us, it can be hard to keep the spark burning.

One spark that might just become a flame is C and her writing. Today she found out she got a distinction in her creative writing masters and she heard back from a publisher about her first novel.
