Flower Friday
No idea as to the names of these two fuchsias. They were here in the garden when we moved here 19 years ago. They do their best to take over the path behind them, that runs down the side of the bungalow., despite severe pruning in the autumn/winter, and a tidy up in the Spring. However they do bring pleasure to both me and visitors.
Greenkeepers have been here today. I knew they were coming, but they are like ghosts. They come do the treatment, this time a winter tonic treatment, and a trial product of a granular garlic product that strengthens the grass, and has increased pest resistance. I hadn't read the the full details and wondered why there was a strong smell of garlic after I had walked on the grass to take this image, and came back in doors. They do say it will dissipate after a few days particularly after rainfall, and that is happening now. All should be ok tomorrow. and I have washed the soles of my shoes outside. So fingers crossed :-)
Nothing else to report folks. Had a good aerobic class this morning, had coffee with friends, and did some shopping, and now home and not going anywhere.
Do have a lovely weekend what ever you may be up to. Thank you for dropping by and for your comments and rewards, always much appreciated. And thank you to you lovely blippers that set the challenges for us each week, you do a great job of keeping us on our toes. Take care, and stay safe everyone :-) x
