Kind of odd that we need something to absorb energy rather than finding a way to harness and use it though... Especially as we're so good at making a big heap awful mess of making energy

After working all day yesterday, Richard took the morning off, so we managed to fit a walk in before he went to work this afternoon. Omitting bedridden teenagers, of course.

Unfortunately there was a cold wind in our faces and Richard had an almighty coughing fit that went on for quite some time.

Back home I hung out some of the masses of washing that Gemma presented me with yesterday and had cheese and tomato sarnies in the garden with Tess and Gemma.

I've got my gardening head back on today and spent a while thinking about plants. I put some french bean seedlings in the ground and did some more thinking.

Joel and Tess took Dylan for his walk this evening.
They came back safely... eventually...
