Another Rose on Another Smoky Day

Ugh....the smoke was so bad today. Everyone I know just stayed inside. Ugh ugh ugh. But the good news is that the Nakia Creek Fire which is the cause of the smoke, is now 25% contained and evacuation orders are lifted.

And the smoke should dissipate soon.

This is the lovely 'Rosie the Riveter' still in bloom even this late in the season. The rain tomorrow is welcomed...by humans and the garden alike!
