Biscuits- baking and taking

This morning my Mum appeared much more lively so I felt it would be safe for me to leave her and to return home. 

I was home in time for lunch, during which we listened to PM Liz Truss making her resignation speech. It  followed disgraceful shenanigans in the Commons last night when Tory  MPs were being bullied in to voting against  Labour's attempt to stop fracking. 
While some of our politicians have been taking the biscuit, I have been baking biscuits. We are visiting friends tomorrow and we  are planning a short break to Shrewsbury with them so I thought I would bring along some Shrewsbury biscuits to encourage discussion.
