Bathing pigeon

This silly pigeon plonks himself in the bird bath most days and has a luxuriant bath!  He wallows in it fluffing up and cleaning his feathers for about ten minutes.  He must be the cleanest pigeon on the block!  He was completely indignant when my husband removed the bath for some algae removal treatment a while ago.  He strutted around as though he couldn't believe his eyes and kept looking up as though the bath would magically reappear!

I have named him after my husband as he loves a good soak in the bath! (I prefer a shower). 

I took this through the kitchen window as it was pouring with rain.  So Stuart pigeon got both a bath and a shower this morning!
