Autumn

We met Chris and Jean at Croome Court this morning.   It was raining somewhat but we braved the outside, under a canopy, for coffee as it was too noisy to think, let alone speak, in the cafe.  By the time we'd finished our drinks the rain had eased off and the sky brightened so we went for a walk to the rotunda and beyond.

I think there was a meet-up at Croome, not a blipmeet but a vintage sports car meet, see photo in the extras, these were a few of them!

We had lunch there after our walk, the cafe had emptied a bit by then, and we had a good chat.

Later, back home, we decided to try the Chocolate Deli on New Street.  Unfortunately it is closed on Thursdays.  So we walked over to the cathedral and had a drink at their cloisters cafe.  From there we decided to walk home by the river.  This tree in the cathedral's gardens was looking magnificent in its red leaves.
