Mahjong

Together with two of my Mahjong friends, I taught the game to a group of beginners at the Surrey WI HQ. I have played Mahjong since I was a child, and all the little quirks are second nature to me. It isn’t until I try and explain it to other people that I realise how complicated it is! There are so many intricate rules! But by the time we finished we had new enthusiasts who can’t wait to play again. I sent them home with comprehensive handouts and assured them I wouldn’t mind if they phoned me for advice any time!
