It has taken me an hour to choose today's blip. A whole hour. I hate it when I'm torn between two shots, which are completely different. In the end I opted for this one, but my other choice was this from my blipfolio. Did I make the right decision blippers???

We've had a wonderful, unplanned day out today. We got up and decided we wanted to go somewhere, as the weather wasn't great at home. We thought we'd head for Chester and try The Crocky Trail, or visit Chester Zoo, but the forecast was better towards Blackpool. So we decided on Blackpool Zoo. We got there and the weather was glorious! We had a great time (and H managed to wangle a new cuddly toy out of us even though I was determined not to cave this time), but we didn't want to go home, so we headed for Lytham. We had a lovely walk on the beach in the late sunshine, walked down the front, had our tea, then headed home.

So all in all it's been a brilliant day, spent with my two favourite people in the whole world. This is the pier at Lytham at my favourite time of day for sunlight.

We are off to the out laws tomorrow (they only live a 5 minute walk away!) for lunch, then there's a big village party in Greenmount (where we live) so it should be a fun day.
