Incoming......

Eventually left home after midday and enjoyed a peaceful drive over the hill to my preferred stopping spot.  It was nice to be able to just sit and enjoy the sights and sounds of Mother Nature......a few godwits at the water's edge, plenty of oyster catchers too, the odd black swan paddling alongside, a wee stream trickling by with a couple of goldfinches enjoying a cool bath, a vast expanse of blue sky and blue water and silence except for the characters mentioned above.  Love it, love it, love it.
