Late Blooms

I deadheaded my lavender plants this year so I had a nice second blooming and now I have several stalks of blooms again. I hope this shows texture with the dry stalks of seeds in the background...what do you think, Bob? Thanks for hosting again this month.

Last night we were watching TV and there were lots of Political ads sponsored by the candidates in the Midterm elections...all of them were saying what was wrong with their opponents. Out of the mouth of babes, Ellie said, " I think you should vote for Nobody!" :-)))) I didn't know she even knew we were going to be voting...I didn't know she was listening... she was busy putting puzzles together. Ellie is aware of what is going on...surprising!

The air quality was very bad today; smoke from several fires has been blown into our area. I did a few things in the garden and came in with a runny nose and cough..Darn! I didn't think it was "that" bad, but it was. We should get rain on Friday, which will help the air quality and end the fires!
