Feeding frenzy at Ellesmere when a kind man turned up with proper wild bird food,  then lots of squawking and bullying ensued.  The day started very windy and dull but by afternoon it improved so we decided to give the car, with its new lease of life, a spin and went to Ellesmere for a wander round the Mere and as it’s our  20th wedding Anniversary today we spoilt ourselves with a coffee and cake in The Boat restaurant!! 


Now we’re off out for dinner and a glass, or two, of bubbly.  Thanks Mr HB, we’ve had a fabulous 20 years together and I hope there will be more too …….  In the meantime, it’s Carpe Diem.
