Home, sweet home

The Traveller left at lunchtime to fly back to Malta after spending a lovely week here. Hopefully he’ll be back again to spend Christmas with us. 

This afternoon we went to help out our daughter-in-law by looking after our middle granddaughter, who was at home from school unwell, while Mummy went to collect the youngest one from nursery. We enjoyed our impromptu visit and stayed for quite a while. 

By the time we’d got home and had our supper it was too late to take a daylight photo, so I decided to light a candle and put it inside this little house to create some shadows. An appropriate subject for a home-lover like me.
