Calne Town Gardens (Wednesday 19th October 2022)

I can hardly tear myself away from the farce unfolding in Westminster daily at the moment. If only it wasn't all at the expense of the rest of us, and yet somehow laughably in the name of democracy.

By way of a diversion here are some autumnal colours in the Town Gardens.

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
John Lennon and the Plastic Ono Band - Give Peace A Chance (recorded 31 May 1969 - 1 June 1969, at a "Bed-In", Hotel La Reine Elizabeth, Montreal, with vocal overdubs by André Perry at Les Studios, Ville de Brossard, Montreal)
"I get angry and that's aggression and I feel like jumping on something. I feel like knocking my head against a wall. All the time I feel, 'Don't shake your fist at a building, students, because a building isn't it. Go to Number 10 [Downing Street, the Prime Minister's House] and kick the windows in." - John Lennon
This is included on CD1 of the John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band  box set that I blipped on Monday, and have been delving into. It seemed appropriate for today.
