Bank Holiday Barbeque

We did what every other British family does on the rare bank holiday weekend when it doesn't rain - dusted off the barbeque...
I then did the annual wait FOREVER for the few blocks of charcoal to reach optimum temperature before trying to cook our burgers. As it took over half an hour for one burger to turn even slightly brown I ended up doing them in the oven (ssshhhh they don't really know that) and finishing them off over the coals.
