Fountainbridge Developments

More of the old industrial sites right next to the canal are being developed.  This space might have been part of the North British Rubber Company rather than the brewery.  This section in front of the new Moxy hotel is ear marked for about 250 flats and it may be 'built to rent' like the McEwan across the road.  It seems to be going up quickly.

It was a day of politics when the new Chancellor, Jeremy Hunt, made an announcement to reverse almost all the measures made in the mini-budget 3 weeks ago by his predecessor Kwasi Kwarteng.  Meanwhile in Scotland the First Minister published "Building A New Scotland", their economic case for independence.
