It all starts with a square: Crochet

Well, not all crochet starts with a square, but this Lapghan, or Lap Blanket did. I've made it for a friend and I've named it 'Cosy Winter Blanket' because of the colours. Not quite Christmas, but with a winter season feel!

I finished the last row this morning and sewed in the last loose end. See the bottom half of the collage. At the top, it's just to show the first granny square try-outs and on the top right, just the middle part.

Quite a few hours of work with all the colour changes and the weaving in of loose ends. I started it in September.

The lighting is not always the same. The two bottom squares of the collage were taken this morning, but the one on the right a bit later and it shows the true colours.
