Mrs Salisburys

The first floor was the home to a really great book shop when I was a child.

It is now one of the many themed 'tea rooms' in the alleyway.

The owners have expanded it over time and have done a pretty good job. From the outside they appear to work very hard and to be good employers.

They ran the mobile tea van in the park during lockdown and have now turned a shelter into a catering kiosk too. Others have complained that they have the local authority in their pockets. They do have an ever growing empire.

They do a good afternoon tea.
