Through the woods

MONDAY

A lovely sunny and breezy day.

After watching Jeremy Hunt wield his axe on television this morning, I nipped up to the postbox at Turbury Lane and walked back home through Crawstone Hall Wood.

Then another 90 minutes this afternoon watching Mordaunt tackle the urgent question about the economy and another dose of Hunt undoing the Truss/ Kwarteng mini budget and going further by extending the scope of potential cuts to the state pension and the social care cap. 

People can only take so much.

Another walk early evening and then I cooked a leek, feta and lentil bake with Panko breadcrumbs and creme fraiche.
