Tuesday mix

Lie in today, Andover to AJ for just after 10.

She had just finished breakfast when I got there, sat in the dining room with her having a lovely chat. She still has a hacking cough, and although the GP last week said he would prescribe her antibiotics, he changed his mind. She is eating and drinking ok (albeit like a little sparrow, and is physically looking frailer) and was in good spirits today. We went into her room as she wanted to show me her walking (this is assisted, my foot on the Zimmer frame, moving it forward a little and every small step she takes, moving her wheelchair behind her closer - quite a knack to support!). She managed to “walk” the length of the bed, then totally wiped out.

On to shopping then back home for lunch.

Popped over to see our daughter and the boys this afternoon - why do they always want the toy that the other one wants! Our daughter has been looking after her dahlias, so pretty.
