Sally Mair - Loving life

Boy's toys

I had a call mid morning today to say that Ali's car was ready for collection, it has passed its MOT with no problems. That's a relief, she doesn't want the expense of buying a car just now.
When we drove down to pick it up, I was amused to see a car the garage is currently working on, there's always something interesting going on. In this case it's a 1960 Ford Anglia Deluxe with 40,345 miles on the clock, although it may have been round that clock a couple of times! It's always good to see people enjoying their job so much that they even do it as a hobby. The car is 3 days older than Joyce, lol.
After picking up the car we went for lunch at Under the Arch in Leith. Such a nice place to go with friendly people, good food and a real buzz. I enjoyed watching one little girl, 2- 3 probably, with her grandparents, we laughed because she and her grandpa were both wearing stripey tops. She was having a lovely time.
Flagged a bit this afternoon and had a doze, I'm definitely much improved though. We've got Josie and Ali staying over again tonight. Ali and Stuart have done a huge blitz on the house - taking advantage of Josie being in nursery, and it's not quite back to normal yet
