Autumnal Tree Canopy

It's been a beautiful day here with the temperature rising to 18 C this afternoon. My Mum and I sat in her garden drinking tea and doing today's Wordle puzzle. My blip is looking up at the  canopy of ash and oak trees at  the end of  the  garden. 
We looked at  the tortoise who hasn't got out of bed  for about a week. He's preparing for the Big Sleep now. We put more hay in his house to keep him protected  as the days get colder. I wouldn't mind hibernating either! 
I took my Mother  for her Covid booster at lunchtime. She  seems a bit tired but otherwise ok.
