Berries
We have had a beautiful day.
At our Group meeting, we had a talk from one of my friends, Sheila, on her life and her faith. She was very entertaining and funny at times, with her stories from joining the Rosebuds in her local church as a youngster, and moving on through the Guildry to become an officer eventually, joining the Territorial Army as a teenager and working her way up the ranks, swimming, running, judo, she seemed to try everything. She talked without notes for 50 minutes, which I think must be difficult. She talked about her faith and her joining of the church after a visit to Glasgow by Billy Graham, the American evangelist, in the fifties, and the setting up of our church when she was one of the first members and helped to set up the Young Wives group, which progressed to the Ladies Circle. It was a super afternoon, and lots of chat with tea and a biscuit afterwards.
I went round the glen for a walk on my way home, and spotted these berries, lots of berries around just now.
