My friends late Dad

was a local Artist.
I'm adding it because John Crisp was born on Rocky Island,Seaton Sluice.
on yesterday's blip.
When his Father got the job of Coastguard the family moved to St Mary's Island.In the early days he worked as a salmon fishermen and a boatman
 then in the RAF during the War.
In 1963 he was a Full time lecturer at Newcastle Polytechnic.
He died in 1983 whilst on holiday in Morocco.
