Controlled Burning....

It's been a stunning beautiful day, completely spoiled in our valley by the smoke from the controlled burns on the moors today. 

In my view, a completely archaic practice so that rich men (at least that's all I have seen) can go and shoot grouse. 

Anyway, no more of that as it makes me very cross. I counted 6 fires from the tops today & this was the biggest.
