You've Missed a Bit!
We took delivery of six fence panels yesterday. These are to replace the fence down one side of our garden and we have someone coming to fit them in a week or two. As the weather was so perfect today we decided to paint them. It's a shame really as we wouldn't have chosen to have them this dark but the other fences around our garden had been painted a dark colour by the previous owners and so we've had to paint this new fencing to match. However, I was cheered a little when I was reading about the rules and regulations regarding boundaries and fencing, which said that choosing a dark colour is supposed to make your garden look bigger because the plants in front of the fence stand out more and therefore the fence behind recedes.
We thought it would be a long job and would need two coats of the fence treatment but actually we painted one coat on all six panels in three hours and a second coat is not needed...hurrah!
As you can see, M was much quicker at painting than me but in my defence I did have a much smaller brush.
